Evaluation & Treatment

What can I expect from the Pelvic Floor PT evaluation?

During the first visit, we will take a thorough history including your primary concerns and any functional limitations you have. An assessment of movement and special tests of your muscles and joints will be performed focusing on the areas of concern and overall function.

An internal assessment of the pelvic muscles (through the vaginal or rectal canal) may be valuable. You have the option to choose or refuse any part of the examination or treatment with which you don’t feel comfortable.

After the assessment, we will discuss a plan of care to address your symptoms and provide some treatment as well as education.

This appointment will last approximately 1.5 hours.

Do you accept insurance?

Hill Country Pelvic Health is a private pay clinic.  At Hill Country Pelvic Health, we believe hour long 1 on 1 sessions with a pelvic health specialist are the gold standard.  You will always be seen by a pelvic PT for a full session, never handed off to an aide, double booked or just watched as you exercise or are hooked to a machine.  Because of this belief, we are out of network with all insurance companies except Medicare part B.  Medicare Advantage plans are not accepted and payment will be due at the time of service.  If desired, a superbill can be provided for submitting to insurance. Pelvic Floor physical therapy will be reimbursed as out of network physical therapy services

We accept all forms of cash payment:  cash, check, or credit card.
